The camaraderie and sense of purpose in filmmaking are deeply fulfilling.
It’s a collaborative art form that I value greatly.

What inspired your collaboration with MasterClass?
In your MasterClass you stress the importance of creating a circular space within your team.
What key takeaway do you want viewers to gain?
My MasterClass is about directing the life you want, focusing on leadership.
This applies to those who feel voiceless; I once did.
I don’t define it as an achievement.
It’s not for me.
It’s not my responsibility.
It has nothing to do with me.
So it’s not a celebration to the question.
It’s hard for me to answer because I don’t view it as that.
How do you envision the film shedding light on present-day issues with what we see happening globally?
And so that’s what the hope is.
And I felt like I was a part of the world.
