And it gets to the heart of an important aspect of domestic violence that often gets overlooked.

Lively’s updated lawsuit claims two of her costars reported feeling “uncomfortable” on set.

This would allow Lily to minimize the abuse when talking to others and even in her own head.
Before they worry about being seen as victims, most DV survivors just want to beseen.
They want their stories to be believed and their feelings to be validated.
I think Blake Lively was trying to say that a DV survivor could be anyone.
But next time, I hope she simply tells victims that she sees them.
