During an interview withBeats 1, Mendes calls Cabello his favorite person in the whole world.
She can feel hurt like no other, but she can feel love like no other.
A few days later, she pops up at a Mendes show.

December 17, 2020:Mendes reveals his relationship with Cabello turned romantic after a simple text exchange.

And I think thats something that I wasnt at the beginning of our relationship.

And apart from my career, my focus wasnt even on my career.
