Glamour: Was there something that you were dying to get back home to once this process was over?
Gerry Turner:Yes, there was.
I was dying to get back to that because I was feeling like a slug.

If you were to sum it up in one word, it would begrace.
I find her very attractive for those reasons.
So now that youve finished filming, are you happy?
Did you fall in love?
That’s a two-part question.
Part number one is: Am I happy?
I’m always happy.
Part number two: Did I fall in love?
I can’t answer that.
Was an engagement something that was realistic in your mind?
Because getting engaged is really hard after such a short time.
So as the journey unfolded, my ultimate goal was finding the person.
You have a very established life in Indiana.
Could that be a deal breaker if someone wasnt willing to move?
Or would you be willing to move?
It is a factor.
It’s not a long-distance relationship that you are together.
Geography isn’t something that is easily compromised.
In conversations, it was something that I talked to the women about quite a bit.
Would you be willing to leave Indiana?
I think all the options are open; so yes, I would be.
The important thing is finding a good compromise, the acceptable sacrifice for both parties.
That’s a tough one to get to, but it’s doable.
There has been one, yes.
And actually someone that I had that early first love with, even before Toni.
So yeah, I have heard from one.
So what surprised you also during this whole process that you didn’t expect?
I kind of resisted that early on.
You know, it was just a natural tendencylike, hey, I’m a smart guy.
I can figure out stuff for myself and so forth.
You don’t want this upcoming date with that person, maybe with someone else.
And I go, No, I want to know that person.
And they’d say, You’ll get that chance later.
Let’s go this direction.
That’s a good example of it.

I wish I was there to give you a hug right now.
It took me a long time to get to that point after she passed away.
So when I talk about the woman of my dreams now, it’s an entirely different image.
It’s an altogether different dream.
I’m really comfortable with that.
It’s all new.

I don’t have anything specific in mind.
You know, I do like doing this.
I’m comfortable in these things, so I’m open to any opportunity that is sent my way.
But no, it’s not like I aspire to be the next Jesse Palmer or something like that.
Whatever happens, happens.
I will take it on.

No, but I think you’d be fun to watch.
