For Youthforia, I think the easy products to get started with is definitely ourcolor-changing blush, Chan says.

Glamour: What time do you get up in the morning?
Whats your typical morning routine?
The first thing I do is drink a glass of water, and then I make coffee.
I love a pumpkin spice latte year-round, so Ill do that at home by myself.
I love to mix my own pumpkin spice.
Im just one of those girls.
And then pretty much immediately, I will go downstairs and review our TikTok.
Ive never met someone who drinks pumpkin spice lattes year-round.
What do you use to make yours?
I use almond milk.
I buy my coffee beans from a company, I think its called San Francisco Coffee.
During November, I buy 6 of them, 10 of them.
I do stock up.
I plan ahead for the year of pumpkin spice.

What was your first childhood dream job?
I always knew that I wanted to start a company.
I just didnt know what.
How do you typically deal with rejection in your field?
I dont remember how many DMs Ive sent out.
I dont remember how many nos Ive gotten.
At this point Im more used to the no than the yes.
I just got used to it.
Its like exposure therapy.
Originally it was a huge surprise.
Its not something I really expected, but it was really cool to see.
I created theworlds first color-changing blush, but I had no idea what people would say.
Its been extremely rewarding to see that journey of the blush.
And how was it going onShark Tank?
It was honestly a really fun experience for me.
Then I felt relief and just had a lot of fun with the rest of it!
I went in with no expectations, but Im really grateful that we secured Mark Cuban as an investor.
I was actually surprised in the moment because hes never done a makeup deal before us.
Hes been really helpful in giving me feedback for our upcoming foundation launch.
Everyone wants to go viral on TikTok, especially beauty founders.
What advice do you have for others trying to recreate that success?
You dont even have to be good at content.
TikTok kind of finds the audience for you.
Just show up, be yourself.
Thats what I love the most about TikTok.
And for me, I realize that I just really love creating content.
What is the best piece of money or career advice youve ever gotten?
The best piece of career advice that relates to me being a founder was Go with your gut.
So ultimately, you are the one that makes the decisions.
You have all the information of what constitutes the right decision for your situation.
What is the last great book you read?
I recently readThe Seven Husbands of Evelyn Hugo,which I really liked and was so engrossed in.
I could not put it down.
It was really good.
Explain the moment you realized, Okay, I might actually be successful…. What is your favorite low-stakes treat after a productive day?
I love taking baths.
I really like boiling ginger skins and putting it in the bath.
I find it detoxing.
Its almost like a sauna replacement, where it helps you get out the sweat.
I brainstorm a ton of ideas in the bathtub and really enjoy it.
What is your go-to thank-you gift?
I am someone who loves going to the spa, and I love giving people spa gift cards.
Ill just look up a really nice spa in their city.
I love giving spa treatments.

If you werent in your current career, what do you think youd be doing?
I cannot imagine doing anything else.
I really like creating makeup and skin care hybrids.
I really like working on TikTok.
I think I have the dream job of a collection of everything I love doing.
If I didnt do this job, I would find my way to do this job somehow.
What are five work essentials you cant live without?
I cant live without it.
I also have a shelf of just my product development samples.
I cannot live without that.
If Im traveling, Im always traveling with product development samples.
Its a bad habit.
