Growing up, I was acutely aware of the fact that thin = good.

But fitting rooms were the pinnacle of my body shame.

You dont deserve comfortable clothes that fit and make you feel good to wear.

Only when you successfully shrink your body do you deserve that, but until then?

But it still didnt occur to me until later down the line to size up in clothing.

Plus, I began to ask myself, Whatsactuallywrong with wearing a bigger size?

There shouldnt be such a stigma.

When I finally bit the bullet and invested in clothes in a bigger sizetherightsize for meit was incredibly liberating.

And as for the comfort?

I couldnt believe I hadnt done it sooner.

I felt sorry for my former self.

Financial means is also a barrier to sizing up.

You could even cut the label out if it might help initially put you more at ease.

But remember that thats exactly what it is: arbitrary.

Sizing up is not a failure.

Looking after yourself and your body should be your number one priority.

Buy the bigger size and dont look back.
