She did not mention the potential historical significance of her win at all.

Happy for grandmothers and little girls and everyone in between.

When there are no ceilings, the skys the limit.

None of this is to say that Harris doesnt recognize or revere the potential history her campaign could make.

It is implicit in the conversation of not going back.

She doesnt have to do more than that.

Together, weve put a lot of cracks in the highest, hardest glass ceiling, she said.

And tonight, tonights so close to breaking through once and for all.

Its a ceiling she may very well crack.

She just wont exactly put it that way.
