Glamour: What inspired you to launch your own sun care brand?
Sofia Vergara:Its been something that I wanted to do for a long time.
In the 90s, when I started realizing that sunblock was so important for your face for aging.

I do little things here and there.
I do a lot of micro-needling when I can.
Also, I dont have downtime.
I wish I had downtime from work.
Iwoulddo a lot more shit.
But I do microneedling, little lasers for capillaries because I have rosacea.
I do Botox in my eyes and in my neck regularly.
What advice do you have for Latinas in the beauty industry?
You have to keep going.
It is harder, not only in the beauty community.
Finding roles is harder.
But I dont take it personally.
It just makes me want to do things to create more things, more opportunities for ourselves.
Not just complaining, Oh, theyre not making, doing, giving.
Its all about, Theyre not, theyre not.
Its like, Okay, so let’s do it for ourselves!
With Transforma, the Latina girls need it because we get melasma and have specific concerns.
I just make a run at include Latinas in everything I do.
And you have to keep doing.
We just have to keep trying.
Was there ever a role you wanted that you didnt get?
Well, then good!
That was really crazy.
I think theyre the best actors in Latin America.
We were able to have them for the series because its half in English and half in Spanish.
And finally, what is one piece of advice that you would give your younger self?
Protect from the fucking sun my chest!
And then work out more.
I didnt understand that working out was not just for looking great.
I started working out very late.
I wouldve liked to realize that it was good for your health too.
