It was great fun getting to do it with Lotte, Graham, and Diarmaid.
Glamour:What was it like getting the call to come back to theOutlanderfamily this season?
Lotte Verbeek:It was an exciting call for sure.
you could kill off whoever you want, but they can always come back.
Thats kind of the fun thing about this show.
I didnt realize it was 10 years ago.
Its quite a journey weve all been through in the meanwhile.
And how about you, Graham?
What did you think when you heard about this episode youd be coming back for?
Graham McTavish:Its been extraordinary, but I found that whole thing just completely bizarre, really.
I got called to play Buck first, which I didnt expectto play my own son.
And then, I get to play myself againwithmy son.
Its a unique situation that will never be repeated, I suspect.
Its such a fascinatingand at times, hilariousscene.
Verbeek:Yeah, wild.
I mean, its just wild.
You never get to do that.
It would never happen in real life, so only on camera can this happen.
Only in a show like this.
McTavish:And you have to forget thats the case when youre in the scene.
You have to just look at that person as a person that youre meeting for the first time.
Then I meet Geillis, and that takes me completely away from Buck.
I dont even think about him for a moment.
Im just thinking about her.
Will you both be back later in the second half of season seven?

McTavish:We can’t say.

Were you able to see him on set at all?
McTavish:I didnt see Sam, no.
I saw him around socially, but not on set.
I would have loved to, though.
Verbeek:Yeah, it was just the actors in this scene.
And I mean, gosh, the cast has become so massive by now with all such phenomenal actors.
But yeah, Sam and Kat, we didnt see that time around, no.
