But it wasnt until she became a mother that she began to dream up her own designs.

Glamour: How do you balance motherhood and entrepreneurship?

Stacey Fraser: Starting Pink Chicken was, in part, about creating more balance in my life.

I had been leading a design team at The Gap, traveling constantly, and working 50-60 hour weeks.

I wanted more flexibilitynot just for myself, but for other working moms, too.

Seeing them take pride in what Ive built melts my heart and makes every challenge worth it.
