Youre like, Fuck, I dont know what people are going to say about our baby.

I honestly didnt think anyone would watchTed Lasso.

I thought, Im sure 100 people will watch it and they wont like the British-Americanness of it.

(It has already been renewed for a second season.)

Ive realized I think that before everything comes out, he says.

It’s just a very weird sensation to suddenly hand something over.

As we cover topics fromGrease 2to regular lovemaking, be prepared to know him like you never have before.

Goldstein, Brendan Hunt, and Jason Sudeikis in season 3 ofTed Lasso, now streaming on AppleTV+.

Glamour: How will Roy evolve this season, both in his career and his personal life with Keeley?

He falls in love with Keeley, and she cracks him open.

Hes putting his head down into work and focusing on that, like some people do, including myself.

But I think hes going to have to face what demons are within.

Do you think theyre supposed to be together?

Are Roy and Keeley endgame?

If youre asking me what would I, Brett, would want, then yes.

Can I just check what endgame means.

Does that mean they kill each other?

Yes, that means they kill each other.

They get married, and then they kill each other, like normal relationships.

I really do love playing Roy, so I would happily do more of Roy.

I would be sad if there was no more Roy.

Id happily do a lot more, particularly because I want to get to that endgame we discussed.

Im going to ask the Apple TV+ president, When are we green lightingMr.

And its two seasons of them slightly trying to kill each other with love.

Im at Richmond at Nelson Road!

Lets get to these questions.

Tell me something we dont know about your first job?

It was something to do with research, and it was fucking bleak.

But at no point did I understand what it was I was meant to be doing.

I dont know why I wasnt fired.

I do think maybe no one noticed I was there.

It was sort of admin in form, but I just at no point knew what I was doing.

This lasted three months?

It felt like three months.

It was probably a day, but I think it was three months.

It was genuinely the most depressing time of my life.

I really was like, Is this life?

There was no satisfaction.

Yeah, it does.

Whats something we dont know about your dressing room over atTed Lasso?

When we shoot, mostly we are in our studio, so we have rooms.

By the way, my sister said to me last night, Have you seen Brett inLone Island?

I was like, What are you talking about?

She told me its you going on a date with a plant.

I thought she was crazy.

So I went on YouTube and of course went down a rabbit hole.

Did you watch the whole thing?

Did you watch all 12 episodes?

I truly think its the best thing Ive ever made.

I think its better than anything else.

You look through my CV (resume), theres nothing better thanLone Island.

The chemistry you have with that plant…I think the plant should make an appearance inMr.

Thats exactly what will happen.

Thank you for watching.

As cocreator ofShrinking, tell us something we dont know about your first time meeting Harrison Ford.

I was so nervous meeting him.

You know what I mean?

It was a fucking big deal meeting him, but obviously dont tell him that.

I was just like, Yeah, yeah.

Listen, it cant get more embarrassing than the time I introduced my dad to Harrison Ford.

I was like, Oh, my God, were leaving now.

That is so great.

Just you and me, Harrison.

Ive hidden out in the cinema so I can be alone, just to watch you.

Tell us something we dont know about the best and worst parts of fandom culture.

Theres a woman on Twitter calledDr.

Em, and Dr. Em makes these super-cut video edits ofTed Lassostuff.

Shes done it forSoulmatesandShrinking, and theyre genuinely phenomenal, really moving.

Shes a very gifted editor.

Theyre really invested in it.

Heres something I dont know: What’s your guilty pleasure?

But Im told its a guilty pleasure.

If it makes you happy, theres nothing to feel guilty about.

Grease 2is the bestGrease.

Because every time Ive read an interview, I get the impression she doesnt think its good.

And Im like, Itssogood.

Its one of your greatest performances.

You must never feel sad aboutGrease 2, because Im not.

No one with a heart and soul is sad aboutGrease 2, Michelle.

You did the Lords work.

Doesnt really work like that until you are George Clooney.

I think thats when you could be like, Oh, I can make some decisions here.

Because I was given the job.

They offered me a job.

I was very grateful.

It was nothing to do with the part.

So there isnt really stuff that I turned down that I wish I hadnt.

Lone Islandis…Im thinking about a reunion special, like a Where are they now?

special, because I do know where they are as well.

I havent turned it down.

And yes, if youre asking, Ball did go to rehab.

And then I didnt get it, and it went to a friend of the director.

It was really like, Ah, this is business.

Anyway, that show turned out to be shit and no one watched it.

Something else I dont know: Whats an activity you most like to waste time doing?

What do I waste time doing?

Because thats the only thing I…okay, well, I play Fortnite withTed Lassopeople.

Tell us something specific you need in a relationship.

Or what I think all relationships need?

Something specificyouneed in a relationship.

I mean, its….

Dont look at the other people in the room.

Theyre not going to tell you!

It is regular lovemaking.

I think thats why relationships go bad is when people stop regular lovemaking.

But this isnt me.

This is a generalized…I mean, I think all relationships need regular lovemaking.

Okay, tell us something we dont know that you love about awards shows.

How does that feel?

And then youll move to the next place and its like, Hey, whats your favorite potato chip?

And then you go to the next one and its like, Do a shot!

And youre like, Whats happening?

As an adventure, thats pretty fun.

I mean, listen, its all a great privilege and all that…I mean, you know.

Oh yes,Iknow.

I have all the awards.

Theyre all over the house.

Anyway, it was such a delight to see you again.

And listen, I really appreciate you watchingLone Island.

It means a lot to me.

Ive boycotted the Oscars because it was never nominated for short film.

Fuck, Ive got to leave Nelson Road immediately.
