It centers around a struggling comedian/bartender who develops a relationship with a woman whos stalking him.
At its heart, its a story about the complexities of trauma.
Its not a feel-good series, but the subjects it brought up I felt were important ones worth exploring.
Cristin Milioti as Sofia is riveting, and she goes through so many transformations.
Of course, we dive into Oswald Cobbs backstory, a.k.a.
the Penguin (played by Colin Farrell), but its really Sofias show.
Also, did I mention Adam Brody?
I watched season two in two days.
The cast is fantastic and has great chemistry and the story really draws you in.
I love that theres one overarching case per season, with smaller cases in each episode as well.
Not sure how Ill survive the wait for season four.
Anna Sawai, Cosmo Jarvis, and Hiroyuki Sanada stood out and deserve all the awards.
I didnt want the series to end.
Thank goodness its coming back for season two!
(Trixie Mattels turn as the football teams drag coach was a particular highlight.)
Joans season was just as fun, refreshing, and must-see as Gerrys.
If you want something thats heart-warming and funny for the holidays, I cant recommendThe Golden Bacheloretteenough.
Plus, theres Charles L.hes as good, pure, and amazing as they come.
(Im a huge fan of his work, and he doesnt disappoint in this one.)
