AsBachelorvets know, here means at the final rose ceremony before Grant presumably proposes to one of them.
So, to hear that Grant isthisconflicted up until the final moment?
Well, lets just say it doesnt give me great hope for happily-ever-after.
Of course, we all know that previews arent often what they seem on this show.
In fact, in our interview, Grant tells me hes happy with the way things turned out.
But whats the real story?
And is the finale as unpredictable as the footage leads us to believe?
Glamour: Before we get to the premiere episode, lets talk about the finale first.
You added that you love both women and are scared of making the wrong decision.
So, is the ending to your season really as unpredictable as it seems?
Grant Ellis:I think there is a level of it being unpredictable.
Its a very hard decision to make, and the women that were the final two were amazing.
Honestly, all of the women were amazing.
But I will say that Im very happy with the way things turned out.
Are we going to see that play out after the finale?
Because I would imagine theres still a lot to sort through after all that.
Yeah, theres going to be a lot to sort through.
I think that just in relationships in general…trust comes with time and action.
So whatever happens at the end, everybody will be able to tell their side.
Everybody will be able to tell their side, and Im excited for that to happen.
What does your family think of the finale and your decision?
Do they know what has happened?
Yeah, they know.
I think theyre excited to watch [it, though].
I think that my mom and dad are really excited.
In the premiere episode, you say that you dont want to be lonely anymore.
What has frustrated you with the dating scene before you joinedThe Bachelor?
Its not that, because honestly, I havent been involved in the dating scene.
So I was patient, and then it just so happened that I was asked to be the Bachelor.
So it worked out.
What did you learn from that seven-year relationship that you absolutely need going forward?
And obviously were going to need our space.
But a friendship is important, trust is important, communication is important.
So thats why I really took my time.
It didn’t change how I approached it because its already a high-stakes, high-pressure situation.
I just was myself, and I was hoping that the ladies were just themselves also.
They were, and it really worked out.
And I think that it was a great way to do it.
Its a great twist, and it worked out the way it was supposed to.
Does that turn you off?
No, I think sometimes you got to shoot your shot.
I think there has to be a balance of forwardness, but you cant be too forward.
I think they did a great job.
Is Zoe going to be the most talked-about contestant this season?
Because she was staking her territory pretty much immediately.
I think Zoes going to be a really forward personality, as a lot of the women are.
I think that a lot of the women brought it.
