Nic Sumners, a 21-year-old cosmetic car repairman from Virginia, says he is pro-choice.
But when he voted in the2024 presidential election, he did so for Donald Trump.
But what appealed to him about Donald Trump was that his campaign was not coming after us.

He was highlighting the American people, which we are.
It doesnt matter what color you are, what you may identify as.
Since I wasnt excluded, I resonated with it.
He appreciates Trumps emphasis on the economy and building America up again.
Its a touchy subject, he admits.
And its like they dont understand that most people arent like that.
A huge jump from 2020, when 41% of 18-to-29-year-old men backed him.
Its also in direct contrast to young women58% of whom backed Harris.
I feel like theres this cultural frustration that young men have that theyre not allowed to be young men.
So why did so many men swing right during the 2024 election?
That probably went too far.
No ones telling women they cant be women.
Its very hard for Republicans to speak up.
Im afraid of having a bad rep with a professor.
Theyre alsoattending collegeat higher rates.
And single women arebuying homesat higher rates than single men.
All I can do is do what I can do now.
And what Im doing now is treating people as fairly as possible because thats what I firmly believe in.
Theres this whole wave about rejecting processed foods.
Were not racist; were not misogynistic.
Were just normal people, and we [are] friends with everyone.
Were tired of hearing a lot of this BS from a lot of the far left.
These concerns outweigh, for him, issues like abortion rightseven though Coby is pro-choice.
For the past four years the Biden administration couldnt really do anything about it to federally protect abortion rights.
In his opinion, That issue is kind of settled.
Its been given to the states.
With abortion, obviously men have their say about it.
But women are the ones that…its their body.
Coby says he feels this moston campus.
Last week, Coby says, students and professors expressed their sadness with the election outcome.
Im afraid of having a bad rep with a professor.
For students like Coby, this can lead to resentment.
I feel like theres a sense of moral superiority that occurs.
And if youre against that, then they kind of look down upon you.
He also, in line with so many of his peers, voted for Trump.
The Trump campaign specifically targeted that demographic and courted them pretty heavily.
