Uh oh, women on the internet are having fun!

Gen Z Boss and a Mini

TikTok: TBH Skincare

Bust out your pitchforks!

And its all getting a little absurd.

Wait, I need more.

Whats the background here?

The trend was born via a somewhatrandom videoof a couple of women out on the town.

They each describe an element of their outfit to the same, strangely hypnotic tune.

Like, get it in your Sambas and a little red bag!

The video took off, with more and more women and their friends copying the trend.

Some infused more than just their outfits into their descriptors, like personality traits or physical descriptions of themselves.

Then, a group of colleagues decided to take it on.

This content can also be viewed on the site itoriginatesfrom.

Why, out of all the videos doing the trend, did this one go so viral?

We may never know; thus is the way of the internet.

But maybe it was the Gen Z boss (gasp!).

The fact that they are clearly coworkers in an office…that is mostly women…having fun?

What does the internet think?

So actually, a lot of people (mostly women) thought the original video was pretty cute.

But others made fun of it.

Heres a smattering of some of the responses:

They should make marketing degrees more expensive.

Women: why dont we get paid the same as men also women.

No wonder modern women cant get anyone to date them.

Then the video made its way to Twitter, where it exploded.

Have the women responded to all this?

After their virality, the companys founder, Rachael Wilde, a.k.a.

Mainly she founded the brand to help with acne, but also she wanted it to be fun.

Hence the bright packaging, cheeky slogan, and, of course, fun social media presence.

So why should I care?

But the ironic thing is that TBH Skincares strategy here was incredibly brilliant.

Their business, Im sure, is now exploding, and they are reaching millions of new potential customers.

In short, this was a brilliant marketing strategy that is likely going to pay dividends for the brand.

Not bad for a bunch of women who should go back to the kitchen.
